Unfortunately there is no way to diagnose a lump without seeing the cat. I'd take her to the vet for an opinion of whether it is harmless or needs treatment?

A mass can be caused from a few things. It can
be a tumor or it can be a puss pocket that developed from a wound that hasn't healed. Only a vet will know for sure. I have had a few cats who
developed a lump. Usually it was from a wound
that didn't heal and festered.
