Apprently some people whined about primatene mist so now it is no longer sold. What they forgot to think about is some of us don't have insurance and that was the only option we had for a medication that actually helped us to breathe. But i guess some of us being able to breathe is not as important as their cause. i have no insurance and very little extra money - how are those of us in this situation supposed to get some kind of bronchial inhaler now?
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You've gotten some good advice here. The good news is that albuterol works much better than Primatene and isn't as rough on the body.
You would probably benefit from an inhaled steroid, reducing your need for a rescue inhaler. The generic versions are relatively inexpensive

First, there are plenty of health clinics in most place that might be willing to take you as a patient and prescribe you appropriate treatment. The reason Primatine Mist was taken off the market was that it is more dangerous than no treatment at all. While I appreciate that you have financial issues, consider that your health is one of your most important assets. It might be reasonable to consider getting a different or second job so you can afford health care.

You cannot be using an inhaler without your doc giving you a diagnosis for needing one. See your doc and get your breathing problems checked out. YOu may not need an inhaler at all. Maybe this is something that could be corrected or maybe a med will do the job. Either way get it checked out. As for no money to buy an inhaler.............I question that because unless you are using someone else computer you seem to have money for a computer and internet access.

Generic inhalers are very cheap. You must have a free clinic in your area. Go to them, they can help you out. Good luck.

Talk to your pharmicist at the drug store you used to get the inhaler at and ask him what he recomends.

Ask the pharmacist about "Flatula", supposed to be the best.
