does anyone know where i can get this brand of veggie bacon ?
It seems to have dissapeared from stores in the uk. Althogh I think that it is an american product.
It was geat grilled and crushed in a salad

I have a few friends that live in the UK and they don't even know what Morning Star is, supply and demand. I guess not a lot of people were buying it over there. Really wish they would for your sake. Maybe you could suggest that Quorn make something like vegetarian bacon? That's the only brand of vegetarian food I can think of from the UK.

I don't know about the UK. But you could try online maybe? That's tough.
By-the-way many veggie products, like veggie bacon, were orignally for people that had to adjust their diets (probably due to fatty meat consumption), particularily heart patients . Creating products that looked similar to the original helped boost sales to people who didn't want to be or look vegetarian.
Companies didn't start selling to the vegetarian market until much later.

I know that Holland and Barrett sell veggie type bacon and I am sure that if you look in your other local health food stores they will either have it or point you in the right direction.

Hello Sues. The Redwood 'bacon' is nice you can buy that in Holland and Battatts in the UK and it is delicious in a fake bacon sarnie. It is also suitable for vegans.

Write a letter or email to morning star. Tell them how much you like their product and you want to know where you can find it.
I'm sure they'd be happy to help you. You might even get some coupons for your trouble!

I haven't seen it lately either.Strange cos it seemed to sell well.
I use the Redwood vegan bacon.Lots of health food shops sell it.

Sorry I live in the US and I can get it pretty much in every grocery store. If people think it's yucky then they're overcooking it.

i have seen it in walmart, also health food stores.
dont touch it with a 10 foot pole. it is nasty
