Exercise, eat less saturated fat and cholesterol. Lower your intake of red meat and up your intake of fruits, veggies, and fish.

1. If you smoke stop. If you don't then don't start.
2. Eat a low cholesterol diet
3. Diet low in fat and salt
4. Increase exercise activity
5. Get your blood pressure read and if its high try to keep control of it as the increased friction of the blood against the vessel walls can cause damage. which leads to a build up of cells and fats. This restricts the blood flow, increasing pressure even more. this increases the likelyhood od clots forming and when these dislodge they can travel to the brain causing strokes or to the heart causing some of the heart muscle to die

Diet and exercise.. Watch your fat consumption, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, Don't make meat the main part of your meal.. Get your protein from other sources such as fish, lentils and chicken. Watch your salt intake and minimize stress in your life. Surround yourself with loving relationships.. that should help..
