its really hard to relate to my friends or practically anyone at my school because there are only a few veg kids in my grade right now...
just wondering if theres any middleschool or highschool kids who are vegggggggg like meee?

I'm in my last year of high school but yeah I'm a vegetarian :) I stopped eating animals when I was in 8th grade (Junior High). If you ever need to talk to someone (believe me, I know how rude people can be when they find out you don't eat animals) feel free to e-mail me.

There are loads of us out here.
My 12 year old daughter has the same problem - 1000 girls at her school and she's one of a handful of vegetarians. It's OK on the days when she takes a pack-up, but murder (if you'll pardon the pun) on the days she wants to eat in the canteen.

hey man i too am a vegetarian, i understand what u mean about not being able to relate to the majority the population who enjoy eating flesh
i'm 15 going on16(in may), a sophomore (high school), i ceased eating other living beings with a heart and feelings in 8th grade (junior high) and 'til this day i've continued on living without ever eating flesh, free to e-mail me if u like :]

hey, i'm in high school, and i know how you feel. not very many people are vegetarian right now, and if they are they may not talk about it too much because they are afraid to stand out. in fact, i only know one veggie at my school. i'm sure there are more that i don't know about, but still there aren't enough! it will get easier over time, trust me, my friends made fun of me at first but now they're pretty mature about it. if you ever have any questions, email me anytime. =)

I am a veg, and so is my 12 year old daughter. You can email us if you like. My daughter does not know of any other veggies in her school, either, and there are 950 kids! Crazy!

There are tons of other issues besides food for people to relate to. None of my friends are vegetarians but we relate in many other ways.
My daughter is vegetarian and has lots of friends..none are vegetarian.

Yes I am a veggie. and it is hard like you said beacuse people are eating meat while you are eating tofu.
