I have a friend who might have serguery on his hand and he might lose it is there sometthing nowadays asa artifical hand that can replace his and work alomost as good as his

They have made amazing progress in the area of prosthetics. They have hands now that react to muscle twitches in the arm and function very close to a real hand.
The thing is, those fancy devices are rather expensive and insurance would probably only cover the most basic of prosthetics.
