The cheddar cheese you use at home is the real deal. the nacho cheese at the movies is processed and has stuff added to it to give it a different consistency. Use Velveeta or other processed cheese if you like the movie nachos better.
Here's and easy salsa recipe (adjust quantities to your taste):
2 large tomatoes- peeled, seeded and chopped
1 small onion- diced fine
1 jalapeno pepper- remove seeds and ribs to make it less spicy , and mince
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
lime juice
salt and pepper to tast.
Mix all ingredients together and let chill in the fridge for at least an hour before eating.
If you want to cheat a little, you can use canned tomatoes that already have the peppers and onions in it, but it won't taste as fresh (more like the stuff you buy already made). I also add more stuff if I need to use it up, like corn kernels, green or red pepper, black beans, pineapple, etc.

Here is a super easy con queso recipe I have been using forever.

Take a block of Velveta cheddar and melt it with 1 can of green chiles and 1 can of diced tomatoes. Stir it all together and just put it on your tortillas.

Quite possibly one of the easiest dishes ever to make.

Absolutely!

Try Velveeta cheese and some Pace salsa! Nuke in the microwave until the cheese is melted and like Chef Emeril says... "BAM!"

Velveeta works the absolute best, if you're looking for that movie theatre taste!

Microwave some cheese whiz if you want something similar to what they pump out at the movies.

Salsas can be easy or complicated, it's really up to you.

I like to chop up a couple of tomatoes, a very small onion and a chili pepper. Then I disolve some sea salt in lime juice and toss everything together in a bowl. Ta da!

ENJOY!

because you are using REAL cheese, the stuff at the movies is chemical toxic garbage, full of artificial ingredients (including red food color, made from crushed dead beatles) For salsa, just throw some tomato, garlic, onion, lime juice and celery into a food processor and give it a whirl, super easy
