Really? Are you sure? Because something like 80% of the population has HPV. I can't believe they would turn him down only for that. Perhaps I misunderstood you, and the two are not connected. HPV is treatable, even though it stays in your system forever, like chicken pox. Did you see the letter that said he'd been turned down for HPV? Or is it just what he's telling you?

hpv . well the mains ones he would have to worry about are the hpv types 6 and 11 they cause about 90% of gential cases. genital warts is treatable, but 25% of the treated cases will get genital warts again as long as the hpv is still there with in 3 months. i would go to the local health department and tell them he doesnt have insurance and to work out a payment plan they cant turn him away at the health department they will take what ever he can pay. if he has a girlfriend she needs to know about this as well in her case it can cause genital warts and increase her risk of cervical cancer which can be fatal to her if not treated . but good luck and take care .
