i went to my gyno, he saw a few bumps i been having, and a part of the area is red and sore, and looks watery..he said this could be herpes..

I NEVER CRIED SO MUCH IN MY LIFE!
the thought never crossed my mind, i thought i was warts(hpv)..i know both viruses last for life (hpv + hsv) but i'm more concerned about herpes...

could my doctor just be assuming?
hes given me aciclivor treatment tabs for herpes...if this treatment doesnt remove the bumps can i assume i have warts? as i hear tabs cannot rid the warts, only freezing, burning etc..

please help, i feel like dying. i've only had 3 sexual partners and i feel this is a curse for premarital sex!

thankyou so much, i agree the only cure i have is the lord and changing my way of life to accomodate this virus. such as diet, stress-free life and loving myself...I believe everything happens for a reason, and i think this will change me forever.

The doc took tests of the sores and i will know for definate in 3 weeks time....For now, i will go along with that its herpes...One consolation is that its just a skin virus, and almost everyone i know has them o ntheir mouth..

the doc said it looks like hsv1 from someone giving me oral sex. I think he said this because the outbreak is so mild that i thought it was a small tear.

The wateriness makes it more likely to be herpes, but they are far less common (about 4 - 1) so hopefully you will be OK. I hope your doctor did tests, there are genital herpes and oral herpes (more commonly known as cold sores). You can actually get oral herpes spread to your genitals, but it is still oral herpes, much less severe, much less often occurring. If you've ever had a cold sore, you know you have it for life, but how often does it come back, how easy is it to avoid. Both forms are very treatable. The warts do have to be removed, and it can be quite painful. I hope you are going to mentally pull through this. There are many support groups in either case.

Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.

Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand a lot of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/nsMB1 everything got better.

Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a packed restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

As far as I know the herpes is so painful that there is no doubt. The warts are a nuisance, and can become sore through rubbing, but there is a great difference between sore and great pain. So it is probably warts.

usually your doctor can tell just by looking at it. herpes is not that bad. its just hard to tell your partners in the future about it. 1 in 3 people have herpes. at least herpes doesn't cause cancer.
you should definately get a second opinion though. usually the doctor will take swaps of the sores.
good luck though. the first outbreak is always the worst.

usually if you have warts in your genital area, that is herpes..and if the doc says it looks like herpes, then it probably is. You should have him do a test on them.
