I have had a tight chest feeling since Thursday its liek not really tight when i breathe it feels like something is blocked that is the onyl thing the feeling start from under your neck mainly middle down to where the ribs finnish the center of that near your stomach and i sometimes get a pain in my ribs (LOwer) i went to the doctor all he said was it looks like an Airway infection so he gave me Biaxsig Antibiotics but does this sound right what he said airway infection and how long does it take to completely go and how can I increase the rate like what things to do?

I have been coughing since tuesday.
I dont think its a heart attack i can still run well no numbeness i have tried sprinting its just this also if ti were a heart attack wouldnt it just be getting worse since Thursday I mean its sorta better today but still annoying and the doctor checked me out already.

My daughter just had an upper airway infection...she has been off the antibiotics for 5 days now, and she still has a lot of her symptoms. Even after an infection clears up it can take weeks for the symptoms and your body to heal..hang in there, if it gets any worse take a trip back to the doctors..drink lots of water, and hot tea with lemon and honey, decongestants, and a humidifier.

Son you have just described a major symptom of a heart attack.Watch for the following too.Numbness in the left arm,jaw pain,and shortness of breath. If you are having these symptoms take your *** to the ER and get checked like yesterday.
