His doctor listened to his lungs already and said he sounded fine but he is coughing, wheezing and it get worse when he runs around or cries.

As a very experience mother of 2 boys and a respiratory thearpist I can tell you that you deff need to take your child to another doc. Pref a lung specialist that treats asthma and reactive airway issues (asthma clinic).

Mom, there are a million kids with these issues--and when he is home or out they get worse---not at the doctors office--know why??? Dust, pollen, animal hair and dander, and MOLDY HOMES--dirty homes with waterleaks that form spores are dangerous and uncomfortable---need to find a doctor the deals in allergies. The offices are clean at the doctors---perfume, clothes wahed in certain detergents, soaps at bathtime--all can be a problem. Something in or outside the house is doing it....thats a fact

He's wheezing because of bronchospasms...this is usually releived by giving a bronchodialator examples are albuterol, Ipratropium bromide, xopenex..e.t.c . Also try seeing a pulmonologist instead of a doctor.

wheezing occures when there is an obstructed or narrowed airway. most common reasons r Asthma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Pulmonary edema, and anaphylaxis

Sounds like allergies or teething can cause it also ear infections if you have insurance visit an immunologist
