Yes, absolutely. It's called aspiration. If you aspirate vomit into your lungs, you can get pneumonia...and you most likely will. Vomiting purposely can erode the lining of the esophagus and cause MANY other problems to the organs of the entire body.
This person should go to the doctor or the emergency room right now!

Yes, you can vomit and inhale the contents and it can kill you. It's called aspiration. Or if you vomit enough you can mess up all your minerals, vitamins and electrolytes in your body and have a heart attack. You will lose your teeth because of stomach acid and erode your esophagus.
This is not a pretty way to get slim not to mention the mental anxiety it causes. Tell the "friend" to get some help NOW before she dies. Godloveya.

Yes, you can get the regurgitation in your lungs. This process is called aspiration which means getting foreign substances other than air in you lungs. This can cause different types of respiratory infection and also decrease her tidal volume because part of her lung is filled with fluid...But this is mostly preventend if she has a great carinal cough reflex.

Being bulimic and intentionally throwing up can have TONS fo lasting effects. HAVE OUR FRIEND GO TO THE DOCTOR. You can indeed have heart problems from bulimia, as well as other effects. I have seen this personally as my girlfriend used to be bulimic and she now has chronic stomach ulcers and will likely be on medication for the rest of her life. She gets awful stomach pains for several hours a week because of this. You can also get internal bleeding, destroy your throat and teeth (from stomach acid) and lots of other things. It's truly awful, and I urge you and your friend to not do this.

Yes you can end up with vomit in your lungs, it's called aspirating. It can cause infections and pneumonia, and that girl needs to get to the ER now.
Hurting heart is a symptom of dehydration, electrolite imbalance and of course heart damage. If she is starving herself her muscles will begin to deteriorate, and the heart is one big muscle so she could have already done damage to her hart by starving herself.
Call 911. Tell your parents about it right now. She could die.

throwing up purposely (bullemia) can cause MANY big problems, and, if it escalates can be life-threatening. if your friend is bullemic, she should see a doctor and or therapist ASAP, for her own good
