The GI Diet is good, easy to do and effective. I have lost 85lbs in 8 months with it.

As someone who is both diabetic and with mobility problems I can fully sympathise with you. Generally speaking a normal healthy eating diet is suitable for those with restricted mobility. It means eating five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, cutting down on staurated fat, eating more fish and chicken - that sort of stuff. Also an important issue is portion size, the way in which I lost weight was simply due to cutting down on the larger portion sizes we used to have.
