The folks at kentucky fried cruelty might give you inspiration and ideas.

Good luck

And for all the sickos that think "chickens taste good" or will be spewing some of Ron White's comedy bits about the food chain (Ron White, the poster boy for alcoholism and heart attacks); I suggest you watch:

From PETA2.com:

"Organize a demonstration against KFC.
Contact PETA2@peta2.com at least two weeks in advance, and we'll make the task of organizing a demo a heck of a lot easier on you. We'll send you supplies and send an alert to local activists to let them know about the demo, and we'll even contact the local media. Check out our guide to demos for some helpful pointers."

I would strongly advise that you contact them first. You have to remember there are legalities involved with protesting, and if you're lucky they'll send my friend Matt down there to help you organize. Good luck!

I have been on many many protests ...and what I have found is a few people care about the animals not many ...... some care about price ........ but they all care if the place is dirty or has had violations (check with health board when there last inspection was) and the current conditions..If you hurt the pockets of kfc they will change.....look at what our protests against fur and cosmetics accomplished...a lot of change..good luck ..I do not live in NC I would join you..keep it peaceful and legally stand where you are permitted..

You should try looking for help in the message boards at peta2. The people there will be more understanding and experienced in demos and protests.

I'm with Matt H -- what are you going to accomplish?

That's a massive chain that's not going to be affected by kids with signs; its customers don't care.

Plus the one near me just put in two new vegetarian items on the menu; I believe one is even vegan. Why single them out, other than 'because PETA told me to'?

Do your own thinking!

Here's a thought: Why don't you go on PETA's website and talk to real PETA memebers instead of troll-baiting?

My question to you is this, what do you think you will acomplish by staging this demo? Do you not think that you could better spend your time leafleting and trying to get people to go Vegan?
