I'm sorry; the best I can figure is too look on the internet. I know in there will be different words for the vegetarian rennet in English than simply calling it "rennet."

According to the Vegetarian Society, many of the cheeses that use the new, vegetarian rennet are labeled "suitable for vegetarians."

You could also try "fake" cheeses. These cheeses are not vegan because they usually contain the milk derivative of casein, but they would not have rennet.

I am not cool enough to have ever been to Japan, but if they carry any of the same brands of cheese as the U.S., here is a list of some vegetarian cheeses http://www.vrg.org/journal/vj2000nov/2000novnondairy.htm
Good luck
:)
