Something simple to cook that is inexpensive with few ingredients? I will be out in the country. I am a simple person so don't need to eat steak or anything like that.

Simple foods that are delicious and easy, Omlets...cheap and yummy. Get a loaf of semolina bread you can slice it when you need it and I like to top it with low fat cream cheese, bacon or shaved ham and apricot preserves. If you aren't partial to meat and want to stretch it out a vegetable lasagna will keep for a while and is great, you can freeze the leftovers and heat them as needed. Check out Kraft Foods websites. There are so many inexpensive recipes that are great!
