i had sex with someone who I know sleeps around and the next day I got sick, like I have a cold or something. could he have something like an STD or something?

He could very well have an STD if he sleeps around but this has nothing to do with catching a cold. You catch a cold by being exposed to the rhinovirus which is what causes colds. If he didn't have a cold then you caught it from someone else. As for STD's though if he sleeps around he could most certainly have one. Get yourself checked for STD's to be safe and be more careful the next time you have sex.

"A cold or something" is not a medical term. If you had unprotected sex there is always the possibility of getting an STD. And don't forget some STD's can be pass through skin and skin contact without any penetration.

First off, if you know a person sleeps around you should most "definitely" use a"condom" for your own protection. You don't want to be left with some disease for the rest of your life just for afew minutes of pleasure. As for catching a cold, it takes more than a day to come down with the symptoms, so you've probably picked it up somewhere else afew days before.

You caught the cold before you had sex! You can't really say immediately if you have contracted something untill after a week. Just get tested to be sure!
