See a doctor..........

*sigh*

Why bother waiting for people to answer this when you could die in the process? Clearly you're not that bad off to be able to take the time to come here and ask this, but seriously, seeking medical advice via Yahoo Answers isn't the most responsible thing to do. I can tell you I'm a doctor and spit out a few medical terms, but that doesn't mean I'm a doctor.

Take care of yourself and go see a doctor if you're breathing is causing you distress and great concern. This may sound like no big deal to someone else, but that's not what matters... if YOU are concerned about something being wrong, then having 10 people tell you "not to worry about it" could land you in grave danger. Follow your gut! If you are worried, then give your doctor a call. =)

I wish you the very best.

Shortness of breath has many different causes. Obstruction of the air passages of the nose, mouth, or throat may lead to difficulty breathing. Heart disease can cause breathlessness if the heart is unable to pump enough blood to supply oxygen to the body. If the brain, muscles, or other body organs do not receive enough oxygen, a sense of breathlessness may occur. Sometimes emotional distress, such as anxiety, can lead to difficulty breathing. Specific causes include the following:

Lung disease
Cigarette smoking
Asthma
Emphysema
Coronary artery disease
Heart attack (myocardial infarction)
Interstitial lung disease
Pneumonia
Pulmonary hypertension
Rapid ascent to high altitudes, with less oxygen in the air
Airway obstruction
Inhalation of a foreign object
Dust-laden environment
Allergies (such as to mold, dander, or pollen)
Congestive heart failure (CHF)
Heart arrhythmias
Deconditioning (lack of exercise)
Obesity
Compression of the chest wall
Panic attacks
So see your doctor as soon as possible to find out you cant let these things go..I did & I now have to take steroids daily & only have 25% of my lung capacity

If you have an infection like bronchitis or pneumonia, you need antibiotics asap. If you have another resp. problem you still need to see a doctor. So go this morning and find out what's up.
