Yogurt is a dairy product made from freshly boiled cooled milk to certain temperature and added some amount of yougurt so it is ready to eat after 3 to 4 hours in warm temperature.. it has lots of healing property .. keeps the digestive system in good condition and supplies vitamin D as well as calcium. It can act as a substitute for fruits.
If you are bored of plain yougurt you can add fruits , jelly etc... But in south India yougurt is a must with every meal. It is used in many types of cooking and has many benefits to your system..

yogurt is cultured milk. the milk is boiled, then a starter (a little bit of yogurt that contains the bacteria that cultures the yogurt) is added, then it is set out for around 10 hours and the yogurt is formed.
So yogurt is dairy. It is very good for you... and it tastes amazing with some fruit preserves added with some granola. Also plain yogurt with cucumbers and mint tastes amazing also.

Yogurt is a dairy product. Many kinds of yogurt come with fruit mixed in, or you can mix in your own fruit. Plain yogurt contains no fruit, and is entirely different than fruit. Yogurt can be healthy in moderation, as dairy is an important part of a balanced diet, but many kinds are high in fat, so chose carefully.

plain organic yogurt, if not filled with gelatin and artificial ingredients is good for you-it has probiotics which help digestion. If it is made from commercial milk, its not good. Commercial milk has growth hormones, steroids and antibiotics fed to the cows. Raw milk yogurt is even better. Its not the same as fruit, but is a useful nutrient. Yogurt is very easy to make at home. I make it using a starter (previous batch of yogurt) with fresh, raw milk, straight from the cow
