Like any bacterial and ANY sexually transmitted disease (even AIDS), it only takes one time....

Heres some more info:

Chlamydia is the most frequently reported bacterial sexually transmitted disease in the United States. In 2004, 929,462 chlamydial infections were reported to CDC from 50 states and the District of Columbia. Under-reporting is substantial because most people with chlamydia are not aware of their infections and do not seek testing. Also, testing is not often done if patients are treated for their symptoms. An estimated 2.8 million Americans are infected with chlamydia each year. Women are frequently re-infected if their sex partners are not treated.

Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth.

I don't know if you can get it another way from some other kind of contact other then sex, but i do know that a majority of people that get chlamydia, get it from sex. I would watch my boyfriend if i was you, he may have been sleeping around on you, and of course he is going to deny any cheating allegations up and down.

yes if they have more then 1 sexual partner or if you were not their first and they had it before having sex with you. If he was properly treated for it then it will not come back unless he gets a new infection. I have worked with std's and i have never seen one come back on its own.

He might have had it before meeting you, but I'm almost certain that you got it from him. He must have slept with somebody else at some point in time.

no he cheated, i am sorry, but you aren't going to get this from a friendly handshake or kissing. the only other way to get it without having sex is if his mother gave it to him when she delivered. but maybe he had it already, and you just happened to get screened for it 6 yrs. later
