it wud be better if the preparation had less calories and wud last for long ....

Boiled egg, mushed and then add butter and a little salt and pepper. Mix everything together, its very tasty actually.

Sure. U can use hung curd instead of cheese and mayo.
So also paneer or cottage cheese cd be used.
Mix salt & sugar [ or black pepper powd.] as per yr taste, in thick hung curd while for the paneer, crumble the paneer and in a blender u may add some salt & pepper to taste and blend.
Both the spreads are low calorie and taste yummy on plain toast too.

PARTY REUBENS

4 tbsp. Thousand Island dressing
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. horseradish
24 slices party rye sandwich bread
12 paper thin slices deli corned beef
8 tbsp. sauerkraut, well drained
Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
Butter, softened

Mix together Thousand Island dressing, Dijon mustard and horseradish; set aside.

Spread one side of each slice of bread with butter. Fold half of a corned beef slice to fit the square of bread. Spread dressing mix on top of meat. Put one well drained teaspoon of sauerkraut on top of dressing. Cover the sauerkraut with a thin slice of Swiss cheese. Place canapes on cookie sheet and broil until cheese melts, watching carefully. Serve hot.

Canapes may be assembled the morning of the party, covered well, and refrigerated. Broil just before serving.

Humus is an awesome sandwich spread and is usually low calorie, especially if its homemade. Its fairly easy to make and there are lots of recipes online. If you want it longer lasting, you can buy it premade at the store, its really good with pita bread.

i have a simple recipe for health and taste try it &u will love it.....heat a teaspoon of butter in a wok mix a table spoon of maida (white flour) in 1/2 a glass of milk ,add this to the butter add salt and pepper keep stiring add lots of american corn, finely diced capcicum ,carrot and any vegge of ur choice .cook very little and then use it a sanwhich spread .trust me it tastes great

Try plain or flavored yogurt . Either alone or in combination with things like ketchup or mustard !!
You might be surprised to learn that it'll taste good !!
