SHE ASKED ME TO LEAVE BECAUSE I UPSET HER STAFF WHEN I HAD BRONCHITIS AND I NEEDED A CERTAIN ANTIBIOTIC. THE STAFF DIDN'T GIVE THE DOCTOR THE MESSAGE FOR DAYS. SO MY BRONCHITIS TURNED INTO PNEMONIA. THEY WERE MAD, BECAUSE I CALLED SEVEREL TIMES A DAY TOO GET THE RIGHT PRESPIRTION, THAT NEED A PRIOR AUTHORITION FROM INSURANCE COMPANY. SO WHAT ENDED UP HAPPENING IS THEY WOULD ONLY GIVE ME THE ANTIBIOTIC I WAS ON BEFORE I WAS SICK. I SAID "NO" WHY WOULD I THAT THE SAME DRUG THAT I WAS ON WHEN I GOT SICK. I HAD WENT TO THE E.R.. AND THE DOCTOR THERE SAID IF THEY DIDN'T FILL THE PRESPRITION TO COME BACK AND THE HOSPITAL WOULD. SO I DID. SO NOW MY DOCTOR DOESN'T WANT TO SEE ME. AND ANYONE NEW DOCTOR I TRY TO SEE, TURNS ME DOWN. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

In my opinion this is neglect, just because you upset the staff does not mean she should ignore your medical needs. She should give you the proper treatment & then ask that you find a different provider. there's a thing called professionalism and I think you need to remind him or her about that and if she still dosent respond to that I would contact a lawyer. Pneumonia is a very serious illness and if not treated properly can be fatal. If this Dr. knows you have this going on and decided to ignore it he/she could be in some major trouble. In the meantime you should contact you Insurance company, they should have a book with a list of providers for you to choose from. Most Insurances do.

just keep trying, but usually docs don't ask patients to go elsewhere unless there is a serious ongoing issue with the patient. also, most cases of bronchitis are viral and thus don't need antibiotics- there are so many cases of antibiotic resistence that are caused by patients demanding meds that they don't need. given the info above, you honestly don't have an indication for taking any legal action against the doctor.

First of all, you should stop yelling. If you're going to second guess your doctor, make a nuisance of yourself with staff, and be demanding, start getting used to getting dropped. If you're finding that your reputation has spread through the group your doctor works with, you may need to look for a doctor outside of your general area.

She is probably pissed because by you getting the drugs from elsewhere means less money in her pocket. You do not need her then. You will find another doctor just keep looking. You wont find a good one because there is no such thing as a good doctor, but you will find one!
