any person, gay/straight/bi, can get an STD from anyother person if one of them is infected and they dont take proper precaution.

Yes, but the bottom is much more at risk for various reasons. The top can get STDs too, their chances of getting away without one are just a tiny bit better.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you different.
You can get an STD from touching any bodily fluid. And during sex, mucus/spit, come, blood (from little tears and stretches in the skin you CAN'T see) are all over both of you. So if you touch his penis, suck on his penis, have someone else suck your penis, put your penins in someone, or have someone else put theris in you, you could get an STD. Use condoms every time, don't be too slutty, and don't sleep with stupid people.

Any time bodily fluids are exchanged, especially if there's broken skin (and you're not necessarily going to know about broken skin in your nether-regions), you stand the chance of contracting or spreading any disease that may be present.
They might suck, but condoms are pretty essential if you want to do your best at avoiding this kind of thing.

Any exchange of blood (tearing of the rectum) or semen can pass the virus. Even oral and getting anything in the mouth. Doesn't matter who is where.
