I would not say a thing. I will go to the clinic and then after you get the information of what you have then give his name and information. Then I will call him after that and tell him, I had to tell my boyfriend when I was 18 that I had an std and he might have it. He did not talk for me for about a week and then after he was tested and found out that he did not have a thing he start back talking to me.But is was the past relationship that I was in where I got it from, I moved from Houston to Shreveport LA and left my ex and started dating this new guy. And 10 years later we still keep in touch.

if you're old enough to have sex, then you're old enough to TALK face to face with someone you've had sex with and tell them whats going on...grow up...

If you have knowledge that someone close to you has a medical condition, how could you not tell them right away? They need treatment.

Reverse the roles; what would you want your partner to do if they were in your spot? You'd want them to tell you, the sooner the better.

It's time to take care of someone you care about; something we all need to do more often. Maybe you could go get tested together.

i agree with the person that said hold off until you are sure. until then, avoid sexual contact. go get tested immediately and inform them if they are at risk FACE-TO-FACE. just tell the person that you have something important you need to discuss. if they get upset, remind them that you were adult enough to let them know (instead of not telling them at all).
