Open-face sandwiches of any kind : cuke, proscuitto/melon, artichoke tapenade, ham adn swiss, smoked salmon and dill, etc.

Quiche: Make a 9" one and cut into slices for a substantial look as the "main course." Ham & Broccoli, Crab & Asparagus, Shrimp & Spinach, Bacon/Onion / Leek, etc.

Small bowl (or teacup!) of soup: French Onion, Tomato-Basil, Chicken Noodle, Cream of Asparagus, Beef & Barley, etc.

Scones, cucumber sandwiches with the crust cut off, Fruit salad, sponge cake. It really depends on what you like. Just dress it up.

i like quiche. yoou can make a couple different kinds depending on your likes. my fave has chicken, bacon, and mushrooms. to me it isn't too feeling and goes great with fresh fruit and of course, tea. try recipezaar.com for recipes.
