muslims are not allowed to be vegetarians. it's their law.

You can be Muslim and vegetarian. I am ... In our religion it doesn't say that we must eat meat, and especially in places where it is hard to get halal meat it is better not to eat it that way you are sure that you are not violating any law. Anyways we know that all fruits, vegetables and even fish are for sure halal and anyways they are much healthier for you... For me being vegetarian has nothing to do with my religion - I just don't like to eat meat. My husband on the other hand loves to eat meat and does... It is your personal choice only.

ehehehheh...i'm muslim AND VEGETARIAN...the fact i'm a vegetarian has nothing to do with my religion , i just love animals and don't want to eat them .
Islam allows you to eat many types of meats (no pork) but i chose not to :)

by not eating meat. Islam prohibits eating meats (and foods in general) that are not Halal. All vegetables and fruit is permitted, so not eating meat does not violate any religious laws.

Religions just group people into different categories. Anyone can eat anything they like! The same goes to you!
