My 12 year old hosts slumber parties for 5 or 6 girls every weekend. Everyones favorite is when we do fondue (you can get a cheap fondue pot at thrift stores) We are vegetarian, so we make an alfredo or spagetti sauce (I have a dual chamber pot, so we often do both) We do "dunkers" of steamed potato, brocolli, mozzerella cheese bites, garlic bread, tater tots, etc. (you could add chicken nuggets, or whatever) I don't use the flame under the pot for safety reasons, but I make the sauce good and hot. I place a shower curtain in the middle of the living room floor, and give them the platter of dunkers and the pot. They chose what they want, put it on a long fondue fork, and dunk it in the sauce of their choise. They ask for it almost every week, so I try to vary the sauce and things to dunk in it. Even my daughter non veg friends don't even realize their is no meat. For quick snacks, I keep pretzels, chips, corn chips, and dips and salsas, hummus with pita, popcorn, chocolate covered strawberries, carrots, celery, and green pepper with dips, crackers with cheese, etc. Hope this helps. Have fun with the party. I look forward to weekends full of shrieking, giggling silly little girls.

Nachos are always a big hit and easy to make in large quantities. Get a big baking sheet, put the Tortilla chips on it, pile on the cheese and taco meat and beans if you'd like, bake at 350 until melted.... and serve with sour cream and salsa.
