What is better for prevention of stroke, lowering blood pressure etc. and WHY?

Any exercise is better than no exercise and if you can maintain a fairly high heart rate for 20 or 30 minutes, it is better. If you can't maintain that heart rate, do it in short burst or do it at a lower pace for a longer time. Discuss with your cardiologist.
