Ever since third grade I've been getting this pain in my chest with shortages of breath and I have to take extremely small breathes to breath normal again or regain my normal breathing pattern. My parents never paid attention to it cuz I guess they didnt know what it was. It happens only once or twice a week. Could this be asthma?

Dont you have to be stressed to have anxiety. I wasnt stressed but I did have an oversized chest in 3rd grade. I remember wearing a size 36C and was 10 pounds overweight. Thats why i think it may be asthma.
