Your best bet is some infant saline spray her nose (little noses is one brand) and suction it out with a bulb syringe. I also like Johnson's vapor bath. You put a capful in the bath water and it smells like menthol and helps to clear the sinuses. The humidifier is good. At 12 weeks it's really not safe to give decongestants and cough medicines. Recent studies have shown bad reactions in very young children. If she does get a fever, acetaminofen is all you can give at this age. Try the vapor bath, though. I thought it was great with my 3 little boys.

I know you won't like this answer, but they aren't *any* medications that are meant for children under 2 unless the doctor prescribes them specifically. Most you can do is make sure she drink fluids, try Pedialyte. If she is well hydrated it will help her bring up the congestion. She will have to work through it. I would also call the doctor's office and ask to talk to an advising nurse. If they have one, s/he may be able to recommend something OTC. You may also want to try speaking to a local pharmacist. They most likely will tell you the same thing, but I would not recommend purchasing something without speaking to a medical professional. If she develops a fever I would definitely make an appointment with the doctor immediately.

If she remains eating and having moist diapers, they are suitable, the is fairly no longer something everybody can do. yet continuously watch if she is having moist diapers, if no longer she will be in a position to develop into dehydrated right now. you are able to giver her toddler drugs for cough and runny nostril, to help ease her soreness and scuffling via a cold. all of us be conscious of how you experience once you've a cold, we are depressing! If her cough receives worse, or she feels like she is having a tough time respiration, i'd take her again. they could do a try for RSV ( an endemic little ones below the age a million can get) and manage her with antibiotics. yet, its that aspect of the season, and he or she likely has a elementary chilly.
