I was in love with a guy of my class 2yrs back. But then I broke up because of some misunderstandings. Then I came to hear that he is in love with another girl of my class. I then completely changed my mind. Now after such a long time, he is telling me that he always loved me and no one else. He even cut his palm and wrote my name over that to prove it. He now says that everything was just a misunderstanding and he was never in love with that girl. He says that now he will die without me .
Another problem is that , the girl with whom I had heard he had a relation is my friend. She loves him madly and moreover I don't have very cordial relation with my friend from begginning. But the guy loves me madly.
What should I do now? Please help me out of this problem and tell me what should I do. I am in urgent need of good opinions.

1> Do you love him?
2> If he loved you all the while, why did he fall for the other girl?
3> If he loved you all the while, what caused the misunderstandings?
4> Is it that the guy is fed up of this girl and wants to move back?
5> How can you gauranteethat those misunderstandings won't develop again?
I believe you need to move on. Cutting palms, writing names on body are just silly acts to impress. What if I cut my palm, write your name on it, and slap you every now and then? Would you go for me? Don't fall for such physically abusing gimmicks. Such people startt demanding very soon and you will find yourself in trouble again.

"He even cut his palm and wrote my name over that to prove it." That doesn't sound like love to me. Sounds rather insane. If he has been with another girl for 2 years and now claims not to have loved her, what's to say that he will really love you if you two get back together. Finally, if this other girl is a "friend", you will wait until they have broken up. Would you like it if a friend made a move on a guy you were seeing?

Its incredible what sort of foolish things the boy would do for you. This sort of relationship isn't love but strong infatuation, or you can say obsession. It wouldn't be a healthy relationship if this guy continues to cut his hand just for you, worst of all, he might just commit suicide just because of your rejection. I would say reject the guy through a slow process, like make him notice you do improper stuff like ignoring him when he calls you sometimes, cause the most worrying thing is that he might just jump off a building because of rejection.
Slowly dump him, but don't make it look like it was done on purpose. The guy clearly has some mental issues which I advise you to never get into.

You have only one life to live, so live it. Don't make any kind of compromise because you don't know what will happen tomorrow. Listen to your heart and mind and do what they say. However, If I were to be in your place, I wouldn't go for such guy. You may think he loves you, so does he, but I would say he is obssessed with you. Only obssessed people will go that far of cutting hand or do such things. If you go for him, it is very possible that in the future his obssession for you will deprive you of your freedom to live happily. You will only be allowed to do what pleases him. Instead of keeping you happy, he will keep himself happy by depriving you of your own happiness. So think about it and do what your heart says.

well... If u love'm u can take him & leave every other opinion aside & leave ur friend coz u know if he doesn' love her, he'll never go out with her even if she loves'm madly as u said!!

in my opinion its not love its just sarcastic love . to prove ones love u need not end ur life . so just move on and concentrate on other things in ur life other than love. all the best for ur future.

I think this guy, in order to prove his love for you ,needs to dump his girlfriend in order to be with you. If he doesn't then he is being less than truthful about his feelings for you.

do u really lke this guy first?ask urself that qns.if u care so much about him,u really like him.in that case,i suggest that u should go get him b4 ur friend does.umm i dont think that that "friend" of urs dosen't think of u as a friend.wait. how long was their relationship(this guy and ur friend)?
