A cardio workout is to build endurance and raise your heart rate for an extended period of time. It also helps to burn a lot of calories.

What is cardio: I don't have a med answer but it is basicly the heart and the body working to together.

Running, walking, sports, etc

its for losing weight and improving overall being.
its basically any physical excercise that raises your heart rate, makes you sweat and you should do it for 30-50min 4-6 times a week (running, jogging, swimming, skiing, hiking etc)

these are exercises that increases heart rate and maintain it at a certain level. like aerobics exercises
