i am 28 years old and surprisingly have never healed from any scar from any wound big or small. i have been deceived into thinking that they would disappear after a matter of time. does anyone know of any surgical treatment drug or cream that could do the trick? it is so embarrassing that i cant wear dresses or date men because im afraid of what they might do if they find out. all the scars turn out to be like burn scars with very dark circles around each of them. is there any hope for my image? im very devastated

Hello Akos, There is a product in Australia called Hirudoid. It is actually hemoroid cream but it was discovered that it was good for scars. I have actually tried it with success on an old scar which was raised and after a few days of applying Hirudoid the scar actually softened and faded it is so faint now that I really have to look hard to see it..hope this helps you.. Happy Days!!!!

Vitamin E oil, Aloe Vera lotions and a prescription topical cream from your gp should help. If the scars are deep or raised you will probably need to see a reputable plastic surgeon. In seeking one, please research them thoroughly. Interview more than three. Don't be afraid to do this. Ask for references. Ask them if they had to have some one else do cosmetic surgery on them, who would they go to. A good surgeon will always try other methods of remedy before electing surgery. Good luck.

I don't know about old scars, but pure vitamin E is very effective for new ones. Try it, but maybe better to see a dermatologist.
