if you are desperate, sure. If not, toss them out. They have no moisture in them, so they won't make you sick...But they will be less effective.

If you got them in 2004 and didn't use them all up they are already expired and no you should not take them. If you have to have Tylenol 3 again you need to get a new script.

Yes you can. Alot of expired medication works just as well as before it expired. There is also the possibility that the properties within the medication no longer work because the shelf life expired. If this helps, think of this. Some bone head in our government system decided to send alot of medication to a third world country so we could say we helped them. Well all of the medication we sent was expired and the research team that followed up on it said 50 percent of the medication still worked. So my point to all of this is you have a 50 50 chance. Goodluck.

you can but it may not be as effective. the expiration date is only how long it can stay on the shelf if you had them since 04 and this is 07 then you can take one and if you don't feel any effect from it in about 30 min to an hour then take another but I wouldn't take no more than 4 in 8 hours just to be safe.

the only thing is that it wont have the same potency as the pills had originally when you got them in 2004. Thus the reason for an expiration date. It wont hurt you to take them as you are supposed to, but probably wont work as well.

I heard that pharmaceutical companies put an expiration date on medications to make sure to keep making money on what we actually can still use safely. Interesting huh? Call your pharmacist.
