Is this shampoo good? My mother got me it yesterday and I have yet to try it. I was wondering what to expect.

Firstly: don't use a two in one shampoo. It either doesn't clean your hair properly or doesn't condition it enough, and usually it's the latter. It's made for lazy men (I'm not calling all men lazy, just my boyfriend who particularly loves two in one shampoos) who want something easy and all in one.
Secondly: don't use Dove. It has silicone in it which puts a layer on your scalp and can cause problems like dandruff and psoriasis. It also damages your hair, despite how 'silky smooth' it makes it feel at first. It doesn't actually condition your hair properly, it sort of works like a quick-fix rather than actually healing your hair, and eventually makes the problem worse. Like foundation over your pimples instead of acne cream.
Try and use salon brands. I know they are expensive but you can get some in pharmacies (especially in Aus) for a few dollars cheaper than in the salons. Most of these brands, and most of the more expensive supermarket brands, are silicon-free and much better for your hair.
Especially stay away from Schwarzkopf, Pantene (!!!!!!!), VO5, and Palmolive.

Most "2 In 1" Shampoos Are An Attempt To "Clean" And "Condition" In One Step, My Personal Experience Is That They Don't Do Either Job Very Well. (They Either Clean Too Well And Leave Hair Too Dry And Tangled Or "Condition" Too Much And Leave It Greasy) But, Some People Do Like Them.

Yes, it really does make your hair look thicker, I've tried it. But according to the hair specialist's, we should never use a 2 in 1 shampoo. Always wash hair with shampoo and condition afterwards. This is what the experts say.
