Here's the recipe I have for Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Squares, but I use a combination of white corny syrup and sugar for the marshmallow bit. The regular marshmallows with the peanut butter was a disaster.

If you want to add butterscotch chips, go right ahead. 2 cups or 1 package should be fine.

1 Cup White Corn Syrup
1 Cup Granulated Sugar

Combine in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat immediately. Caution: Do not allow to boil rapidly.

1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Add. Stir in, mixing until peanut butter melts.

7 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Add. Fold in. Smooth into greased 9X13 inch pan. Press gently with palms of hands to pack into pan. Cut 5 x 3 while still warm.
