Do all you americans think australians are boomerang throwing people who live in the bush, playing the digeridoo all day????

One of the answerers here suggests Americans don't have a clue as to what is happening beyond the country's boundaries.
In fact -most citizens of the USA don't know what's happening outside the boundaries of the next town.
Americans reading this will say that's not true. Well, it may not be true for them, but I didn't say ALL Amercans, I said 'most.

Of course not. You're in the pub too, and the footy, or water skiing, or surfing too. (lol). No. But seriously.
Most of us here think of Australia as the last frontier. As remote and far away, which it is to us. Most Americans do not know you have the most beautiful beaches in the world! Or attractive people that you are. Or that you know how to laugh and have more fun in one weekend than an American can in a month. Or that you're very greenhouse conscious. Or so health conscious. I'm sure if they'd travel there---like you guys come here--they'd know what I do.
I would love to buy a farm and ride horses in the hills and walk those great goldcoast beaches!!! see you 'round, mate.

Nope. I consider Australia on a list of very important countries - namely, one of our allies. If we disagree on political issues, at least we won't be lobbing bombs at one another.

In exchange, I hope you do not consider Americans gun-toting, beer guzzling cowboys who play the electric guitar all day. But if you do, I won't mind.

I don't. Australians are as advanced as Americans. In terms of science and technology knowledge, we are equal.
