You mean 'closure'. Two words: Move On.
Good luck, you dont need this psichological crap from a guy or anyone for that matter.

Nowhere in your question do I see that he asked you to "wait around", and you shouldn't. Neither do you have the right to demand to know "what went wrong" . It's enough to know in such a relationship that the chemistry went sour.
I say don't worry about reasons, because perhaps he's unfairly blaming YOU, and you don't need that blame if you did nothing wrong, or anything that you won't do in the future. Just move on, you haven't lost anything since the relationship was new.
Feelings can change about people in a moment. Women do that all the time, right, so may men.

It could very well be that this jealous and overly-protective guy is setting you up for a life of abuses. Those are the typical signs of abusive men who will do all in their power to get their victim to really fall for them before they really show their true colours. Even though the signs are there before it's too late, the "girl in want of heart" will more often than not look the other way and ignore them (the signs) until it becomes too late. Just like a bug in the spider's net, she gets caught in a life of abuse and misery, trying to understand how the man they love and who loves them or so they think as these men don't even know how to love themselves. Stick with him and you'll become his emotional crutch, physical punch bag and spiritual condemnation as you'd empower him to use you in every sense of the way. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that jealousy has nothing to do with love. It's a tool that controllers use to better control their victims. I'd really watch my steps if I were you.

Well I had to look it up, but:
cloture - The only procedure by which the Senate can vote to place a time limit on consideration of a bill or other matter, and thereby overcome a filibuster.
Why would you need to find that?

There is a popular saying in my town which says, "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free"? He never intended having a serious relationship with you.He has already gotten what he wanted and has moved on. I guess you should move on too, your b,f has probably gotten himself another "cow".
