My mum is very special to me because she has always been there for me and we've been through some pretty tough times in recent years (along with my fantastic brother) with the death of my Dad to cope with. He was the corner stone of our family and when he died we all lost a major part of us but we've come through it together. I have also found out that my hubby and I can't have kids in the last few years and my mum said the best and most understanding thing in that she knows she can't understand what we are going through but she'll be there for whatever we need and at whatever time of the day or night I need her. She's brill.

Thank you very much, I am a mum and I still have may mum so I feel very lucky. As a mum I think my 4 children should be extremely pleased that they have me as their mum, isn't it nice to have the chance once a year to big yourself up.To MIM 1978, I will be your mum for the day, if you would like me to?

Mother's Day isn't 'til May 13....(a little too much green beer last night, eh ?) Well. that's o.k. you love your mum and that's what counts !( MIM1978...having a bad mom, or not having a mom at all , can make you a good mother....perhaps one day when you have kids, you'll hold them close, and protect them because you never want them to feel the way your mother has made you feel. )

my mums the most special person in my life i can tell her anything and even if we argue we always forget about it and are speakin again in no time. she does everthing for me and shes helped me thru sum tough tyms and stands by me no matter what.
i love her more than any1 shes not jus my mum shes my best friend.

Out of all the people who have been in my life she is the 1 person who has always stood by me and never expected anything in return. Even when I haven't been especially nice to her (in my teens yrs) she has always been there when I've needed her. She's always put myself and my brother first and always will. I have more respect for her than anyone else on the planet and always will
