If she's got the cash...and if you make sure there are no legal string attached (emotional ones are up to you)...and if you are in need...then let her do it.
Why not? There're more than enough things to get all worked up over anyway, so let her be happy by making you happy. and if it doesn't work out later, so what - there're no guarantees anyway and we all have to take our chances.
Oh...but you know what, I never actually answered the question, so here it is...
YES, I WOULD let her buy me a car.

as long as she pays for the insurance too ; )
yeah why not! Us blokes do things like that for the women..why cant it be the other way around>?? I take it she's minted then...If it means her getting into debt then a NO..or is she saying she'll buy you the car to get back together??
If she wants to buy you the car out of the goodness in her heart then let her, just don't take the mick out of her & don't get back with her for the sake of a car...it'll end in tears.

is she still in college...???i find it strange if you would accept the gift NOW,but you'll wait till AFTER she finishes college to get back together! what's wrong with the present?is it so it dont interfere with her studies....????do you really think she'l have her mind on studies if she's longingg to get back together with you????
i would think with BOTH my heart & head...& hopefully there will only be happy tears shed!
good luck..

I would be afraid that she was setting you up, somehow.
I would wait until you two were back together for sure before taking an expensive present like that.

if she buys it in her name and then signs all the documents in her name then it will never be yours.
