My hair is currently dyed dark brown (i wish it was green again.....) anyways, I heard that vingar makes your hair better.....

What if I pour pure vinegar, with no water dilution, just pure vinegar (9% acidity) in my hair. Will it lighten it? because I want my hair to stay dark.....

DO NOT PUT UNDILUTED VINEGAR ON YOUR HAIR!! It Will Just Strip And Dry It. If you Want To Use A Vinegar Rinse Put 1Tbs. In 8 Oz. Warm Water And Pour It Through Your Hair. It Will Remove Some Build-Up "Tighten" The Cuticle And Make It Shinier. Follow With A Cool Water Rinse.

Apple vinegar is the best. Or regular with 50% water.

I used 50% water to vinegar on my horse as fly spray. Kept the bugs away while we rode, and made his hair super shiney for a couple of hours.

Some people lighten their hair with peroxide but I really don't know if it will react to the dye or how it will come out.

Best to just try it on the ends or somewhere it will be hidden.

Don't do it.
There's no need for it.
Believe me I have tried EVERY home remedy there is. Whipped eggs on hair, avocado on hair, mayonaise on hair, chammomile on hair, and yes vinegar. It makes hair shinnier because it burns off the outer layer of cuticules. Dno't do it.
Buy Nioxin hair mask or Redken conditioners.
It's not worth it

vinegar can make your hair more shiny... but make sure you don't use too much directly on your hair
