No quite the opposite is true, people say that it doesn't matter what religion you belong to or choose, because they say, all roads lead to God. But do they? Not according to Jesus, he did not teach that all religions are simply roads leading to the same place of salvation. In his famous Sermon on the mount he said: "Go in through the narrow gate:because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it ; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it."(Matthew7:13,14)Because they fail to worship God in the right way, most persons are on the road to destruction. Only a few are on the road leading to God and therefore life. So if it were true that it does not matter what religion we choose and what we are doing in our life then we wouldn't need to go in through the narrow gate we could just simply go with the flow on the wide road that most people are going on, and still et there, but Jesus said that we should go on the road that leads to life if we want life.So there are not many roads that all lead to God ut as Jesus pointed out there are only two roads one leads to destruction and the other to life. It is therefore very vital that we search for the narrow gate and cramped roadand then walk on that one because it is the one religion that God approves. Would it be reasonable to believe that all religions were right, especially when they contradict each other? If they were all right would it not be more reasonable to expect them to be in agreement? And they would be in agreement if they were really all leading to God! So according to Jesus most people today will not be saved even those who say they are may not be.(Matthew7:21,22). God is a God, not,of disorder but of order(1Corinthians14:33) Therefore the ones saved would be orderly not disorderly.

No, in fact it says many will be called but few will be chosen. What this means is that many will be told of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, but only a few will accept it and become saved and follow the ways of God by listening to the convictions they get from the Holy Spirit. Now in the Bible a few could mean millions to God. The ones who think religion or their church can save them are very deceived and many will continue to follow false religions even after being told the truth, that we must be born again. These are the ones who will not be chosen unless they turn from their false religions and turn to Jesus only as their savior. Here is a really good website that can really give you alot more information about being saved.

Actually Jesus had this to say: "straight is the path and narrow the gate that leads to life, and few will find it; but broad is the road to destruction and many will be on it". Many people who call themselves Christians don't understand that a personal confession of sin, and acceptance of Jesus Christ, the son of God who died on a cross and rose again, is necessary to be saved. This is not the majority opinion of the world, at all.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen."
Mat 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.
Very few of those that have ever lived will be found to be righteous in God's eyes.

the bible alludes to only a few in any age ever being saved. however, during the great tribulation, john saw a great multitude of gentiles martyred. they had to be martyred because they were deceived and didn't recognize their error till it was too late to make the rapture that comes b4 the great tribulation. once the Pope brings his forced worship on the earth again with the help of the world council of ecumenical chrches(image of the beast) the only hope of making it is to let them kill you rather than bow down to their false religion. swallowing their doctrines is like drinking a glass of water with a bunch of wiggle-tails in it. yuck!

Jesus Christ died for all so that all might be saved. However, only a few will choose to give their life to God as He gave His Life for them and to them. God is not willing that even one should perish, nevertheless, God gives them the right to not choose Him. The majority will perish in a place made for Satan and his angels.

No. When the New Testament was written, Christianity was a very small group.

Esther's right. Boy do I love her answers!
CULTURAL "Christianity" might be popular in some areas of this country, but true Christianity is not.
"Love not the world, nor the things in the world, for if you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you."
"Blesses are those who are hated and persecuted for My name..."
