You don't burn RAR files to DVD. WinRAR is like WinZIP. It is a file archiving tool. WinRAR will let you unrar your RAR files. What kind of files are inside the RAR will determine what you do next. Inside there's probably an ISO file which is an exact image of a disc, in this case probably a DVD. You use your favourite burning software (Nero, HotBurn, etc) to burn this to your blank DVD. DON'T burn the iso file itself to the DVD, you need to go into your burning software and pick an option like "burn DVD from disc image" and then use the ISO file as the image source, and burn it that way.
