Max S - Is this a joke question?

Briggs has three good rounds, in the fourth Ali would have closed the show. I don't know if it was a mental block, or a conditioning problem, but Shannon hits a wall at about round four and has loads of trouble as the fight progresses. He was world class for the first three rounds, and ordinary the rest of the way. Ali was world class for all 15 rounds, and actually got better as the fight progressed. Having enough to take Frazier out after 14 rounds in Manila is a testimony to Ali's ability to elevate his game in the later rounds.

Your question is humorous, but Briggs, wouldn't have lasted six rounds with Ali, and probably would have been KOed with in one or two some of the heavy hitters Ali beat.

It's Briggs who would not stand a snowball in hell's chance. Ali would use his speed and make Briggs chase him down, while keeping Briggs off with well placed jabs and combos. Briggs suffers from Asthma, and is usually dangerous for the first 4 rounds, but he is only dangerous if he is able to hit the opponent. He would not have been able to hit Ali clean, in my opinion.

Ali would make Briggs tire, then knock him out in the 5th or 6th round.

Briggs might last 15 rounds against Ali he has a decent chin. Ali would win 10 of those 15 rounds. Ali by decision.

Who the hell has shannon briggs fought. Muhammad would win I have not doubts about it. To tell the truth you don't know a damn thing about boxing if your questioning Muhammad's prowess in the ring. He beat the best in his day and not fighter in the Heavyweight Division at this time wouldn't stand a chance against them. Ali would win hands down he's beaten the best.

HECK YES.

Shannon Briggs is a MAN no doubt about it. But 15 rounds he would punch himself out. Ali would not let him get to his face or give up any knock out shots to Briggs. After Briggs would tire out from chasing Ali aroud the ring Ali would have unleashed a flurry of punches to out the big man down. Look at what he did to Forman. I know Forman was not as big as Briggs but it was the same concept.

Ali was and still is the greatest heavyweight fighter of all times. He is to boxing what Jordan was to basketball.

Ali would have won against him. Ali knew how to win, knew his opponent, and would always keep fighting. Once fought a whole fight with a broke jaw. No quit in him. He beat sluggers, he beat faster fighters, he beat brawlers who just went in to try and knock him out. Ali also could take a punch. He always fought real heavyweights. Who has Briggs really fought? Lewis? Foreman in his late forties? Give me a break. The division now compared to Ali's day is like comparing water to scotch weak vs strong!!

If Tyson won't be able to take it in the first 6 rounds, then the tournament will flow Ali's way. Ali is prevalent for his stamina and his means to take a punch. i imagine there are functional arguments in putting forward that Tyson ought to conquer Ali. Tyson does in truth have a really risky punch which as I keep in mind kept him even as he replaced into being outboxed in a unmarried of his post-proper fights. yet i have continuously concept that Ali's victories over George Foreman and Joe Frazier are more advantageous than sufficient arguments to assert that maximum in all probability, he'd beat Tyson too. upload to that, in case you shop in ideas, the adult adult males Tyson were struggling with were in simple terms completely scared with assistance from him, and in simple terms from there on my own you be conscious of he'd win the wrestle. Tyson has a psychological side adverse to maximum of his warring parties, and it really is the reason his wins are so devastating. those devastating wins make it seem that Tyson replaced into unbeatable. yet I heavily doubt he'd scare the likes of Ali. Tyson replaced into no more advantageous intimidating than enormous George and yet it replaced into Ali who out-psyched enormous George. He'd do a reminiscent of Tyson.

Are you kidding me? How can you compare Ali to the crap that's in the Heavyweight division now? None of those alphabet "champs" wanna fight each other and they're all content fighting retreads to build their so called "legacy." Look at Klitschko's last fight. Why won't he fight someone good? Oh wait, that's right, because Samuel Peter and Cory Sanders exposed that weak chin he has.

Ali would whip all of the heavyweights now. No one in that division compares to what he had to face in Norton, Frazier, Foreman, etc...

omg yah he would kill briggs shannon is a slow defenseless brute who only won a belt against a weak opponent he keeps his hands low and is slowwwwww. ali would have butchered him moving in and out using that lightning jab and using that cross that dropped people like flies. heck i think vitali or wvlad could take him oleg maybe sam peters definetly and tooney would kill him in a boring long drawn out decision. sultan could prlly win too.
