what does it mean when the friends (more than one) of a guy you like (he knows you like him) keep watching you from across the room but not the guy you like?

JAJAJAJAJAJA.......Oh gosh, i remember doing the same thing. I felt i was too cool to look at the guy i liked so i had my friends look at him and tell me wether he was looking my way or not and acting all 'ohmygod' im so cool.
He said something about you that is why his friends are keeping a lookout.

So you like him and you want to know if he likes you too, because neither one of you have taken a very direct route. If you like him and you think he likes you too, why is all this going on across a room. Go talk to him and quit looking out the side of your eye. You'll know alot quicker,,,and it won't involve other people.

That would mean that they are checking you out because the guy who you like, told his friends who liked him and they are trying to see how she looks like

He's your guy-friend's wingman. Basically he is going to take one for the team by asking you out soon. This will keep you from stalking your guy-friend.
