I thought we were supposed to pull out of "civil wars" such as Iraq. So what is the point of getting into another one? The left wing wackos will scream about that later since Sudan has oil too. We have also been lectured by the left that we can't do anything without a UN mandate. There is no such UN mandate for the use of force in Sudan. Therefore I can only conclude that it is ok for us to intervene in a civil war and ignore the UN only when the left approves of the mission.
