I am babysitting a 5 year old, I am 15, it is 2:40 am, He is at my house... The mom went to the bar, clearly it is closed... I am really tired.. but I dont want to go to bed since everyone but me is asleep and we are all hard sleepers and wont answer the door or phone if she knocks.. DO u think that if she isnt here by three that I should go to bed??

did she give you any contact phone #'s to reach her at? I would call her! did she discuss the hours/hour she would be back by?? go to bed, just make sure the doors are locked and windows too! keep the phone by you.
I dont think it is fair of her to put you in this position! I would go to sleep if I were you....You shouldnt be made to stay up that late unless it was arranged, adn it doesnt sound like she arranged this scenario with you. she sounds irresponsible, so go to bed, you deserve it.

Everyone's right. Try to stay up just a little bit longer and then put the phone near you, double check all the doors and windows, then go to bed. If you're at home, you're parents should be there, right? The one who said you shouldn't be expected to stay up is more than right. It's probably best the kid stays the night anyway if she's been out drinking all night. She can pick him up in the morning. Goodnight.

Well if she isnt ansering her phone I would go to bed. Parents dont sit up and watch their kids. And I am sure the kid will be fine until morning.

yes and that is a horrable mother for staying out that long, especially if she told you she would be back at a certain time, you need your sleep honey!
