She is roughly a year old, her belly doesn't feel hard like it did, she likes me to rub it. Is there a chance all she had was the 2, due to her age? She aquired us last summer, she was ferrel but now she lives in our pole barn, with a fixed male, his dad is the dad, which visited last nite, they all seemed to be getting along, so I let him stay. He sprayed everywhere, I know, really stupid (city kid, moved out to the boonies) I guess I wonder if the stress of him being in there caused this or if he could have done something. Where is her vagina? The normal location. Never looked

I've had a bad experience with the emergancy vet in the area. Can I take her in Monday? She doesn't like other people much. There is someone I can call in the morning for help. Actully, I did earlier. She said keep an eye on her and keep her comfortable see if she'll eat-she did. Won't the milk just dry up?

Eric you need to get her to a vet a.s.a.p., if she has a dead kitten inside her, she will get septicemia and that's NOT good, feel her tummy for any little lumps, if she is young, its quite possible she is having a problem giving birth.

Hey,
My dog has had two litters of puppies last year and I am going to guess that dogs aren't very different from cats when giving birth. Or any animal at that matter. Dogs/cats usually take about an hour giving birth, if it takes alot longer than that it is usually advised to take it to the vet office for a c-section. if it has been two nights since the miscarriage, I think you should HIGHLY consider taking your cat to the vet office immediately when they open and tell them the situation. They will x-ray her and see if she has any kittens in her still. If she does they will remove them or do what ever necessary.. but probably remove them. It sucks that your cat has gone through this lost. If you plan on breeding her again talk to your vet about it.. this can happen again.

I have dogs and the belly area is tight and hard when giving birth. If the under belly is soft at this point then she probably doesn't have any more. I'm not sure if this is the same with cats. Call a vet and ask for advice, most have emergency numbers. See what they say and hey the advice is free, unless you have to go in.

Monday may be too late to take her in, if she has dead kittens in her. Take her to the emergency at least to check if there are any kittens. Do an Xray or something to be sure. She may have had only the two. Try to feel her belly too, you should be able to feel the kittens if they are in there. But you don't have the experience, the vet does. If you don't trust the specific vet, isn't there someone else that you trust? ould you at least call him? He may go to his clinic for an emergency case.

I would take her to the nearest emergency veterinarian in your area TONIGHT. If she does have more kittens inside her uterus they have probably already passed away but if not removed they will start to decompose inside your cat, ultimately causing grave injury or death. TAKE HER IN NOW!! At least they will be able to tell if there are more fetus's inside.

Your kitty needs to be seen by a vet NOW. Even if their are no more babies in there, she needs medication to stop milk production because she won't be nursing.
