when i click on a avi file to watch it all i get is 30 seconds of nothing why is that?

im using windows exp
i dont know if i am suppose to change the avi to a mpg or somethin
i watch mpgs with no problem

Most likely, you lack the video codec this AVI uses.

Go to videohelp.com/tools, download G-Spot, which identifies which codecs AVI files use, and show us the results.
