Once a general manager wanted to test his people who had come from all over India, about their values of life.
He announced that in their seminar folder, there is PVC pouch and in it there is a seed. When they return , they must put it in a good soil in a pot and look after it very well.
He would hold a competition in the next year's seminar and that the best plants would be awarded suitably.
Everyone did what was told to him. A year passed quickly. And next year in a big hall, there were hundreds of pots and a great variety of plants-a great scene.
Except one pot in which the soil was there and no plant! The owner was standing quietly and seemingly ashamed of himself!
The general manager called him on the stage. He asked him what happened and he told him the truth. He planted the seed which he was given – and did that was to be done- but nothing happened!
The general manager declared him the winner!
Everyone was shocked. It was announced, "Gentlemen! The seeds I gave you were boiled seeds. You planted them and nothing happened! You acted smartly and used some other seeds.
This man was honest to his work and, therefore he did not cheat me or himself!"

another story about honesty paying (and why im not rich):
me and my sister were hanging out in my room last summer. it was like 2 something in the morning and we were bored. i had to use the bathroom so i left the room to go and when i came back i randomly said "hey i want my panties back" and we both busted out laughing and my sister was like "that would make a great prank phone call!" so she called one of her teachers who she hates and said that then added "oh um... wrong number" before her teacher said anything. then about a minute later that teacher called back, i guess she had caller id, and said she was gonna call the cops in the morning. we were so scared we couldnt sleep. then as soon as mom and dad woke up we told them what happened but i lied and said i had a bigger part in it than i really did, so my sister wouldnt get in as much trouble. but really we both go in SO much trouble. i got my phone taken away for a long time (i hardly use it anyway), we were both grounded, and she threatened to sue us for disturbing the peace or someting like that (i never really figured that one out). and if i told the truth i'd probably been in a lot less trouble that i was. well eventually i got over it and was SOOOOOO thankful that i didnt get her as a teacher when school started.

a very good story !! it reflects that honesty is the best policy !! Just wanted to say that you are a girl of morals & i am impressed by your great stories !! the one about the farmer & his daughter was equally great !!

ONLY ONE DOUBT .managers used to like smart workers who outsmart others...eventhough others were dishonest they worked for their boss a little but this honest man didnt.....
